Biography

J. Rene is an American R&B/Soul singer and Platinum songwriter. She is originally from Hayward, California and raised the majority of her life in Atlanta, Georgia. J. Rene has traveled the world performing her R&B hits from coast to coast as well as internationally. 

 

In 2011, while interning at 6090 Studios in Atlanta, J. Rene met the CEO of Lost Art Productions, LLC. Mauryce “Motrakx” Owens. They began working together while developing musical chemistry that allowed J. Rene to blossom as a writer and singer. She released her first single “Bartender” in 2013, which caught the attention of industry heavyweights due to the overwhelming response from her fans. In 2018, J. Rene released her debut EP “Love Is...” after releasing her holiday album “For The Season” in 2017. She was selected to perform at the 2018 Underground Music Showcase in Denver, CO. J. Rene also performed at the first Ciroc Boyz 4/20 Day Party in Denver. J. Rene released her hit single, "Get Away" in 2019 and has recently released a new single, "Calling Me" in 2020. She is currently performing in Las Vegas as she gears up to begin touring in 2020.

 

J. Rene aims to use her influence to spread the message of self-love to people around the world. Her mission is to empower people to see the beauty within themselves instead of identifying with the perceptions placed upon them by society. J. Rene's purpose is to inspire and encourage listeners while being entertaining and delivering a message of hope. J. Rene will be synonymous with the legendary greats of R&B/Soul music.
